MusiCares And Facing Addiction With NCADD Announce Ninth Annual Teens Make Music Contest  Image

MusiCares® Teens Make Music Contest in conjunction with Facing Addiction with NCADD announce launch of the ninth annual MusiCares Teens Make Music Contest in conjunction with Facing Addiction with NCADD as part of its effort to turn the tide on America's addiction epidemic. The contest asks young musicians, ages 14-18, to compose or create an original song and/or music video that celebrates life without alcohol or other drugs and brings attention to the real-life consequences of substance misuse.

The first-place winner will receive two tickets to the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards® at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, two tickets to the GRAMMY Celebration® after-party, and other prizes. The second-place winner will receive a cash prize of $250 provided by Visions Adolescent Treatment Center and other prizes. The third-place winner will receive a cash award of $100 provided by Visions Adolescent Treatment Center and other prizes. The first, second, and third place winners will have the opportunity to attend the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards backstage experience during a GRAMMY® rehearsal held prior to the awards show in Los Angeles.
