Muse's current single "Thought Contagion" has reached No. 1 at Alternative Radio, marking the band's fifth time topping the Alternative chart, following "Resistance", "Uprising", "Dead Inside", and "Madness" (which spent a record-setting 19 weeks at #1). "Thought Contagion" was originally released in February of this year along with an accompanying music video, directed by Lance Drake.
Matt Bellamy said of the track:
"The meaning of the song 'Thought Contagion' is about how other people's thoughts, ideas and beliefs can sometimes infect your mind, get into your head and change the way you think yourself".
