MotorCity Casino Hotel will welcome Ziggy Marley to Sound Board on Thursday September 29, 2016 at 8PM.

Ziggy Marley, six-time Grammy Award winner, Emmy Award winner, humanitarian, singer, songwriter, and producer has released 12 albums to critical acclaim. As front man to Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers, the group released eight best-selling albums that garnered three Grammy Awards, with such chart-topping hits as "Look Who's Dancing," "Tomorrow People" and "Tumbling Down."

Marley's first solo album, Dragonfly, was released in 2003. His album, Love is My Religion, won the Grammy Award for "Best Reggae Album" followed by the album Family Time, which scored him a 5th Grammy Award for "Best Children's Album." In 2011, Marley released his critically acclaimed album Wild And Free, which earned him a Grammy Award nomination. He also released his first comic book, MARIJUANAMAN.

To coincide with the release of his latest album Fly Rasta, Marley released a children's book titled I Love You Too. The multicultural picture book is based on one of his most beloved songs of the same title from his Grammy Award-winning album Family Time.
