MotorCity Casino Hotel to Welcome Emerson Hart of Tonic at Sound Board, 12/26

MotorCity Casino Hotel will welcome the 89x Free Show, Sound Board Unplugged, presented in partnership with Metro Times. The evening will feature a FREE concert performance by Emerson Hart of Tonic and a special appearance from Detroit's own Daniel Harrison & $2Highway on Thursday, December 26 at 8 p.m.

Best known as the front man for alt-rock band Tonic, Hart is set to release his second solo album Beauty in Disrepair in early 2014. The new album from this singer/songwriter was written over five years; he chronicles loves and painful times throughout his life.

His first solo release Cigarettes and Gasoline was released in 2007 and produced two Top 20 hits. Since this release he has found love, marriage, fatherhood and also found his way back to Tonic for a greatest hits record and a tour. Hart now sets out solo again and will tour at the end of the year and into 2014 to support the new material.

Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend this performance.
