"Quiet Mind" and "Naked + Alive" Live Performances + Interview on Last.FM Session Feature Out Today!
Mother Falcon is in the midst of a co-bill tour with Ben Sollee, which hits NYC tonight. Their live show was hailed by NPR as one that "soars with the grandiosity of Arcade Fire at its most anthemic." The dynamic co-bill brings together an unconventional blend of orchestral and alternative influenced music the artists have dubbed as the "Fall Migration" tour. The band recently taped a performance session for Last.FM filmed live on a Manhattan rooftop featuring the tracks "Naked + Alive" and "Quiet Mind" from their new album, with an exclusive interview which just posted today. With the release of Good Luck Have Fun, the band tackles both the accessible and adventurous; the first half of the album soars with an emphasis on rhythm, concise arrangements and a wealth of hooks. The second half of the album comprises experimental instrumental soundscapes.Website Facebook Twitter Instagram
