Due to overwhelming demand for tickets and a sold-out first show, Morrissey will return to The Hollywood Bowl with special guest Billy Idol to perform a second show on Saturday, November 11th. The first show sold out days after it was announced that the iconic musicians would perform on the same bill at the celebrated Los Angeles venue on November 10th.
Iconic frontman of The Smiths, Morrissey will perform classic beloved hits alongside new material off of his much anticipated 11th studio album, Low in High-School, set for release in November. This October will see the release of a special 5 LP Box set Deluxe version of what is perhaps The Smith's most Iconic album, The Queen is Dead. Morrissey is widely credited as a seminal figure in the emergence of indie rock and britpop and has been called "one of the most singular figures in Western popular culture" (Pitchfork). The Smiths emerged from the British independent music scene in the early 1980s and Morrissey led the band to 15 studio, live and compilation albums in their short five years together.
