AC Entertainment is excited to announce the 2018 dates and new venue for this year's edition of the Moon River Music Festival. Taking place September 8th and 9th, the Memphis born music festival will be relocating to the beautiful Coolidge Park in Chattanooga, TN.
Festival founder Drew Holcomb released a statement today about the move and the exciting future of Moon River:
In 2014, we started Moon River Music Festival to showcase my hometown, Memphis, Tennessee, in all of its underrated glory. For the last few years we have done exactly that, and brought people from all over the country to see Memphis and experience our incredible festival. We are very proud of what we have accomplished.
As we outgrew the stunning and historic Levitt Shell, we realized we had an opportunity to dream, and we have set our sights on expanding the original vision of Moon River.
I have lived in various parts of Tennessee my whole life. I'm biased, but I think its one of the greatest places in the world. In our dreaming and searching for a new home, we realized we could showcase other parts of my home state, Tennessee, and we have found the perfect place, Coolidge Park, in downtown Chattanooga.
Chattanooga is primed for a music festival like Moon River, and the city has opened its arms to us. It is the gateway to the Appalachian Mountains and one of the most beautiful cities in the region. Coolidge Park is right in the center of town, connected to one the world's largest pedestrian bridges, Walnut Street Bridge, overlooking the Tennessee River.
We can't wait for you to continue in this wonderful adventure with us. We will see you this Fall in Chattanooga!
The lineup for the 2018 edition of the festival will be announced Tuesday, March 20, 2018.
Tickets are available beginning March 22, 2018 at 10:00 am EST at MoonRiverFestival.com

Coolidge Park, located on Chattanooga's North Shore, is one place where you can overlook the beautiful Tennessee River, play in an interactive water fountain, stroll across on one of the world's largest pedestrian bridges-the Walnut Street Bridge, test your skills at rock climbing, picnic with your family in plenty of open green spaces, admire a military memorial and even ride a tiger on the 100-year old restored antique carousel. Coolidge Park is adjacent to local entertainment, art galleries, shops, and restaurants and serves as a venue for numerous concerts, festivals and special events. It is also part of the Tennessee Riverwalk, a 13-mile long public greenway that runs along the Tennessee River - from the Southern Belle Riverboat to Chickamauga Dam. In 2006 The Peace Grove was added to Coolidge Park. It is a circular landscape of trees planted to represent each of Chattanooga's Sister Cities and celebrate the city's global friendships around the world.
