Sporting two Parents Choice® Awards in her hip pocket, beloved children's musician and YouTube favorite Nina Stone (a.k.a. Miss Nina) is thrilled to announce the May 6 release of her third album for kids and families -- and the first album Miss Nina has made with her band, The Jumping Jacks -- Every Day's Your Birthday.

Every Day's Your Birthday can credit its own nativity to the concept that no matter what day it is or what life brings, within us all is the power to change our attitude. Says Nina Stone, "The best way I know how to do that is with music and movement. A little dance break can brighten your outlook and the trajectory of your whole day! Why not make every day a great day?"

Musically, Every Day's Your Birthday traces its roots to '60s and '70s pop and rock music -- from The Brady Bunch and The Beatles to Led Zeppelin and the Grateful Dead -- and also displays Miss Nina's love for dance and early '80s hip hop and rap.

Items not to be overlooked include the title track, a terrific rock 'n' roll production number filled with sound bites from the '60s, and "Sunshine Blue Skies" ('70s pop rock, The Brady Bunch meets Led Zeppelin). Also noteworthy are "My Freeze Dance," a Meghan Trainor-esque doo-wop pop/dance number, and "DJ In My PJs," which credits its style and sly humor to The Beastie Boys, Run DMC, and other early '80s rap and hip hop that Nina Stone listened to as she grew up.

The past four years have witnessed the phenomenal growth of a large and devoted following for the videos that Miss Nina regularly posts on her website and YouTube channel. Boasting more than 8,000 YouTube subscribers, The Miss Nina Weekly Video Show features Nina Stone with her trademark cotton candy pink Daisy rock acoustic electric guitar, performing sing-along, move-along songs for the early childhood set. Several of Miss Nina's videos have received more than 350,000 views on YouTube.

Before her debut as "Miss Nina," Nina Stone could be found dancing everywhere and anywhere people would let her. Nina earned a B.S. in Dance Management and spent several years dancing nationally and internationally in professional musical theater productions before embarking on a course of graduate studies in Educational Theater at New York University. After receiving her M.A. from NYU, Nina helped develop the curriculum for the Small Wonder program in the Early Childhood Division of The Dwight School in Manhattan, where she taught for seven years. When not recording and touring with The Jumping Jacks, Nina is a Music for Aardvarks teacher in Maplewood and Montclair, New Jersey.

Previous albums by Miss Nina include Sha Doo Be Doop (2013) and Singing and Dancing Together (2009).

Every Day's Your Birthday will be available on iTunes, CDBaby, Amazon, and mymissnina.com.
