The program will include arrangements, compositions, and improvisations largely based on Balkan folklore.
The Da Camera Society of Mount Saint Mary's University presents Miroslav Tadić (guitar) and Yvette Holzwarth (violin). Guests will experience lively Balkan guitar and violin works by one of the world's foremost classical guitar composers.
Using Balkan folkloric music as a framework, Tadić and Holzwarth will provide windows into Baroque, Flamenco, Arabic, Brazilian, Blues and Americana. The program will include arrangements, compositions, and improvisations largely based on Balkan folklore.
Tickets are $30-$115. Students may email dacamera@msmu.edu with a valid student I.D. for a $10 ticket code, a limited number are available.
