MIKE GARSON--the legendary keyboardist known for his tenure with David Bowie--has released a rendition of "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" featuring Latin Grammy Award-winning vocalistGaby Moreno. The moving song, available on all digital platforms now, re-underlinesGARSON's long-running, strong belief in the healing aspects of music. The video for "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother," which contains imagery of recent tragic world events, can be viewed here.
"I've always felt music has amazing healing qualities and I suspect most people know that intuitively," says GARSON. "With all of the horrific events of late, I felt it might be nice to take an old song. 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother,' and revise it for today. We produced this video for the song in the hopes that it would inspire and show that in difficult times, the deep connection of people and love undercuts all the nonsense."
GARSON adds: "There is so much going on in our world today and the song is so universally important that we wanted give our thanks to the first-responders, troops, doctors, nurses and volunteers around the world. This song is a labor of love for all of our brothers and sisters lending a hand and carrying the burden."
GARSON is gearing up for the 2018
