Rising pop star MAX today announced that he will be releasing his highly anticipated new single "Love Me Less" on April 5th, 2019.
Additionally, the singer-songwriter is nominated for Best New Pop Artist at tonight's iHeart Music Awards alongside fellow nominees Marshmello, Bazzi, Lauv, and NF. The honor follows the success of MAX's 2016 album Hell's Kitchen Angel, which contained his smash single "Lights Down Low". Tune into the awards tonight at 8pm EST on FOX as they're broadcasted live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA.
"I'm really ecstatic to finally be releasing "Love Me Less" into the world. It's always had a very raw and important message to me and having Quinn XCII join to make it even more special has been so exciting," said MAX about the news. "Being nominated among so many wonderful artists and friends for Best New Pop Artist is an absolute honor as well - I can't thank iHeart radio enough for their recognition and continued support!"
"Lights Down Low" has become a bonafide hit since its release, achieving multi-platinum status worldwide and impressively crossing over 500 million streams. The song held the #1 spot on Billboard's Adult Pop Radio chart, reached #7 at Top 40 radio and stormed the top 20 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The track even reached television airwaves, as MAX brought an emotional, stripped-down rendition of "Lights Down Low" to The Late Late Show with James Corden, as well as a powerful, choir-backed version to Live With Kelly And Ryan.
