Atlantic recording artist Max Frost has announced plans for a wide-ranging North American headline tour. "The Gold Rush Tour" hits the road beginning October 9th at Santa Cruz, CA's The Catalyst Atrium and then travels through mid-November (see attached itinerary). For complete details and ticket availability, please see maxfrost.net/tour.
A remarkable solo performer hailed for stealing the show with his captivating one-man-band performances, Frost will herald "The Gold Rush Tour" by headlining a pair of Neon Gold PopShop dates, set for Brooklyn, NY's Baby's All Right (June 20th) and Los Angeles, CA's Bootleg Theater (June 25th).
"The Gold Rush Tour" follows the breakthrough success of Frost's ebullient new single, "Good Morning," available now at all DSPs and streaming services. The track is joined by an equally colorful companion visual, streaming now at Max's official YouTube channel HERE; along with the recently released acoustic video of "Good Morning," which can be viewed HERE.
In addition, Frost recently made his national TV debut with a performance of "Good Morning" on the nationally syndicated LIVE! With Kelly and Ryan, streaming HERE. Max will appear yet again on national TV on Good Morning America on July 25th.
"Good Morning" heralds the imminent arrival of Frost's long-awaited debut album, "Gold Rush." Executive produced by Michael "Fitz" Fitzpatrick (of Atlantic recording group Fitz and the Tantrums) and mostly produced by Mick Schultz (Rihanna, Jeremih, YG), the collection is due to arrive in October.
"Good Morning" has been featured in promotional spots for ESPN's new morning show, GET UP, as well as in recent episodes of ABC's hugely popular AMERICAN IDOL and GREY'S ANATOMY. The latter placement led to a wave of attention for the single, sending it to the top 25 on iTunes' "Top Alternative Songs" chart.
In addition, "Good Morning" can be heard soundtracking a yearlong advertising campaign launching Pepsi's new bubly™ line of sparkling waters.
Named by both NPR and Rolling Stone as one of "10 Artists You Need To Know," Max Frost has earned acclaim with his electrifyingly idiosyncratic sonic blend, a musical merging of soul, funk, hip-hop, pop, and electronica that saw 2013's breakthrough single, "White Lies," lauded in such high profile national outlets as Interview, Billboard, Idolator, and NPR Music.
Furthermore, Frost has become an in-demand collaborator in his own right, including DJ Snake's recent hit single, "Broken Summer (Feat. Max Frost)." As if that weren't enough, Frost's current and upcoming projects include pairings with such diverse artists as Elton John, DJ Mustard, and Whethan, all set for release this year.
