Neon Gold/Atlantic recording artist Matt Maeson returns with his latest track "Go Easy", off of his highly anticipated debut album Bank On The Funeral, which arrives on Friday, April 5th. Listen HERE.
Matt says of the track, "I actually wrote "Go Easy" not too long after I wrote "Cringe"- I was trying to fix a lot of mistakes I'd made, and it took a lot longer than I expected. I beat myself up until my mistakes seemed easier to make again because I lacked a sense of forgiveness and understanding from people I loved. At the time, Neon Gold invited me to a writing camp in the jungle of Nicaragua and I had a session with Captain Cuts (three wonderful human beings). We sat around trying to write for half a day and basically gave up until Ryan McMahon played a little riff on the guitar. I started writing to it and boom, within just a few hours "Go Easy" existed. That doesn't happen often but when it does, there is something sincere about it."
Maeson previously released "Beggar's Song" off of Bank On The Funeral, which EARMILK described as, "A medley of emotions with a catchy, powerful chorus that manages to somehow be self-deprecating and motivating at the same time."
Matt will introduce the world to Bank On The Funeral with an epic live schedule that includes a headline tour as well as serving as support for NEEDTOBREATHE. Headline dates get underway April 17th at Denver, CO's Larimer Lounge. Several radio-sponsored events are also slated - for complete details, please visit www.mattmaeson.com

Matt Maeson has been on a remarkable journey all his life. The Chesapeake Bay, VA-native grew up on tour, traveling and performing with his parents' prison ministry at maximum-security penitentiaries across America. His experiences - which include winning over crowds of naked women and Hells Angels at the world-famous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota - inspired him to begin writing songs, spare and powerful confessionals infused with additional strength via his raw, soulful vocal approach.
