Matt Corby Unveils North American Headline Tour

Elektra recording artist Matt Corby has announced plans for a North American headline tour. The string of dates get underway January 22 at Seattle WA's The Crocodile and continue through February (see below itinerary). For complete details and ticket information, please visit mattcorby.com.

The upcoming headline tour follows the recent release of "Monday" Corby's first release in nearly two years. A live video of "Monday" premiered earlier today via NYLON and can be seen here. Corby wrote and recorded 'Monday' in a cottage on the side of a mountain in Berry in rural Australia. In this video, Matt returns to the cottage to re-create 'Monday' live in just one take.

Corby has spent the past few years in home studios all over the world where he wrote and recorded the debut album due out early next year via Elektra Records.

"I recorded an album two years ago that I didn't like. For a lot of reasons I wouldn't release it. It took me a year and a half to clear my head of everything that happened, accept my failures, reboot and have the balls to do it again."

Matt's previous releases, Brother and Resolution, have had a combined YouTube views of 10 million and his previous EPs have combined sales of 1. 5 million global sales.
