Matroda Is Joined By Brux On TRUE G Image

Mixing his signature rousing low-end with infectiously quirky percussion and sly vocals from BRUX, Matroda flashes his chops on the heavy hitting single "True G." The new single highlights the essence of Matroda's distinct sound on a sonic joyride through bass music. "True G" follows "They Call Me," and is the latest banger off Matroda's forthcoming double sided mixtape, The RED Tape.

The Croatian producer has heavily showcased his #MatrodaSound on Dim Mak, via previous releases "Caliente (Na Na Na)" alongside RICCI and cheeky single "Beef Stick," which was added to Diplo's Revolution on SiriusXM. His most recent track, "They Call Me," has already swept the electronic music scene. YourEDM proclaimed that The RED Tape single is, "A savage new bass house production that dares to be different." As his ambitious mixtape project begins to take shape with newly released singles and tour dates in the works, it's clear that 2019 is looking to be Matroda's most promising year to date.

Joining Matroda on "True G" is Australian recording artist BRUX, who just dropped her latest single "Belong" on Dim Mak. Since emerging in 2018 with a pair of knock-out releases ("Paper Boy" and "I'm Back"), BRUX has bewitched fans across the globe with creative dance music inspired by the supernatural. Off the strength of these early singles, with Triple J Unearthed naming "I'm Back" one of the "5 Best Independent Australian Songs of the Week," BRUX was hand-selected as the sole musician to represent Australia at Red Bull Music Academy's 20th anniversary in Berlin.

About Matroda:
Taking early influences from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Frank Sinatra, and The Beatles, while introducing classical training across the violin, drums, and keyboard, the Matroda sound is well rounded and multifaceted. Since bursting onto the scene, Matroda has taken the world by storm with his unique approach to bass house music which incorporates industrial sonics and surgical sound design. His first career remix of SNBRN's "California" with Chris Lake in 2015 proved an electric festival vibe-chaser gaining support from Diplo, Calvin Harris, and Major Lazer. Hitting the #2 spot on Beatport's main chart upon its entrance and #1 on its house charts, it was a no-brainer that the rework polled in at #5 on SiriusXM's 2015 songs of the year. Since then, Matroda has toured the world and released three EPs: Shut It Down (Monstercat), BO$$ / Back To The Basics (Dim Mak) and Unfinished Business in addition to releases for Confession and Spinnin'. He is supported by Major Lazer, Diplo, Calvin Harris, Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis, Tchami, Pete Tong, Malaa, AC Slater, and more.
