Tonight, July 18th, The Mason Brothers continue their musical journey with a release of their second album "Efflorescence". They will celebrate the release at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola this evening with sets at 7:30pm & 9:30pm.
Described as "one of the most important trombone voices of today's generation," Elliot is currently a member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. Brad has proven himself as one of New York's highly respected trumpet players and educators, and is a current member of Blood, Sweat and Tears. Brothers Mason share a truly unique musical bond and vision when performing together.
In their recent interview about the highly anticipated new album they explained the meaning of the album and their new musical path "With efflorescence we tried to capture and present an artists spiritual, intellectual and emotional flowering." said Elliot, to what Brad added: "We wanted this record to start where "Two Sides, One Story" left off, and progress to find its own musical identity."
