Maybe April, Sima Cunningham, Anna Soltys and The Kelson Twins are young, talented, driven musicians with stunningly beautiful voices, lyrically and musically, who deliver the goods! Maybe April - Alaina Stacey, Kristen Castro and Katy Bishop, as teenagers from Chicago, Southern California and Arkansas, penned, "Loving You Still", a story of teenage breakups sung with convincing heartbreak. The song prompted the Grammy organization to invite Maybe April to perform at the Grammy Legacy Concert in Los Angeles with musical legends including Bonnie Raitt and Kris Kristofferson. Now based in Nashville, Maybe April's web of soulful melodies, three part harmonies and acoustic instruments, represent the best of the next generation of American music out of Music City. www.maybeapril.com
Sima Cunningham and Dorian Gehring; Sima is a musician, activist, and cultural ambassador who began composing and performing folk-rock music at the age of 15 and has recorded three albums of original content. She was recently named an Artist Ambassador by the United Nations organization, Arts for Peace, and represented the organization in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, during the Rio+20 Conference. Dorian (of Exit Ghost), is a musician-producer extraodinaire, who frequently collaborates and performs with Sima.
Anna Soltys-Born in Poland and raised in Paris, Anna now makes her home Chicago. Her music explores and embodies elements of pain, strength, honesty, and sorrow. From start to finish, lyrically driven simple melodies leave you with a sense of honest sorrow, a gentle whisper in your ear that speaks of darkness and of beauty.
The Kelson Twins are an acoustic singer/songwriter duo. The Twins, Maddie and Juliet, play various instruments such as piano, guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and bass. They fill their songs with beautiful harmonies and poetic lyrics.
