Emerging New York hip-hop artist Marcaux released his latest single "He Has Risen" today, the first track off his upcoming EP Hypocrite. On his first single since changing his name from Just B. Polo, Marcaux showcases his talent for combining sticky hooks with a dynamic rap structure that merges Aesop Rock-type spitfire sequences with the fiery live intensity of Ho99o9. He writes, produces, and engineers his own music and lyrics while also making beats, lyrics and original music for other developing artists.
Marcaux has steadily made a name for himself through vigourous touring across the US, where he has opened for Chris Webby in addition to featured performances on the Beatport Stage at Warped Tour on Long Island. Marcaux has frequently been recognized as a rising star, winning Best New Artist at the International Music Conference in 2014 as well as winning the Emerging Artist Series at SummerFest 2016. He released his debut album Desensitized in July 2015, which received and has continued to build steam with his explosive live shows in the time since.
