Franz Ferdinand's fans have waited four long years for a new studio album. Now following the release of Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Actions in late August the Glasgow-based indie rock band brings their latest tour to New York City. The Grammy Award nominees come to Manhattan Center's Hammerstein Ballroom, located at 311 West 34th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, on Tuesday, October 22 at 8:00 pm.

Franz Ferdinand composed of Alex Kapranos (lead vocals and guitar), Bob Hardy (bass guitar), Nick McCarthy (rhythm guitar, keyboards and backing vocals) and Paul Thomson (drums, percussion and backing vocals) first experienced success when their second single, "Take Me Out," reached #3 in the UK charts, followed by their debut album, Franz Ferdinand, which debuted on the UK album chart at #3. They have received numerous awards since then, including the 2004 Mercury Music Prize, two BRIT Awards in 2005 for Best British Group and Best British Rock Act, and several NME Awards.
