Manasquan High School Theatre to Present Christmas Benefit Concert

The MANASQUAN HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA CLUB & CHORUS, presents Trans-Siberian Orchestra lead vocalist & Manasquan HS Alum, Chris Pinnella in a one-night only Christmas Concert on SATURDAY DECEMBER 17TH at 7:30pm at the Jack Nicholson THEATRE at Manasquan High School.

The evening will feature Holiday Hits & Christmas Classics all backed by Pinnella's 8-Piece Orchestra direct from NYC and accompanied by a 60-plus member chorus of students from the high school and students from neighboring shore towns ranging from grades 5-12. Expect to hear all your favorites from: 'Winter Wonderland', 'Believe', 'I'll Be Home For Christmas', 'Hallelujah', 'The First Noel', and many more! A special appearance will also be made by Santa himself who will be taking wish lists as well as joining the group on stage for the final number.

Pinnella's goal is to raise $2500 for the drama club & chorus through ticket & concession sales and is hoping to find a corporate or small business sponsor to match the donation for a potential grand total of $5000. The vocalist graduated from Manasquan and has performed in Broadway National Tours, Off-Broadway and Regional theatre. He also has worked with Julie Andrews and has been touring and recording with the platinum selling Trans-Siberian Orchestra amid playing solo concerts throughout the year at NYC hotspots: Feinstein's/54 Below, Birdland, Jazz! At Lincoln Center, The Rainbow Room, The Grand Ballroom at The Plaza Hotel, & many other theatre venues across the country. His new Holiday Album, 'The Christmas Sessions' will be available for purchase the night of the show as well, with a portion of the proceed going directly to the Choir and Drama Club.
