Madonna is showing the world how to take advantage of a generally unfortuitous situation.
The "Material Girl" singer's 13th album was recently a victim of track leaks. But in light of this, the singer announced this morning that she would be releasing six tracks from her new album, available on iTunes today.
"I was hoping to release my new single 'Living For Love' on Valentine's Day with the rest of the album coming in the Spring," Madonna said. "I would prefer my fans to hear completed versions of some of the songs instead of the incomplete tracks that are circulating. Please consider these six songs as an early Christmas gift."
The 56-year-old singer also tweeted,
More tracks will be released on Feb. 6, with the entire album, "Rebel Heart," set for a Mar. 10 release.
