Madchild Releases New Single 'Times Change” & European Tour Dates Image

With his new album "Demons" set for release April 12th, 2019 via Battle Axe Records, Madchild is back with another single entitled "Times Change" online at https://youtu.be/4uFe7mr7ZkM. The song was produced by Rob The Viking from Swollen Members and sees Madchild reflecting on his past in a new confessional track that plays out as an apology for his hedonistic behavior.

"Times Change is one of my favorite songs from my upcoming album Demons," said Madchild. "I wanted a chance to personally apologize to my fans and people that I encountered during the times of back to back tours, and also explain what life on the road is like. I had a lot on my plate and partying every night certainly didn't help the way I conducted myself. It can get overwhelming when you're doing close to 200 shows in a years time."

"Demons" is the follow-up to Madchild's Evidence produced "The Darkest Hour", and finds the emcee aggressively confronting his chaotic past head-on and then using it as a launchpad for new beginnings.

"Demons" is available for pre-order now online at https://www.shopbenchmark.com/battleaxe/catalog/category/view/id/1191/ along with limited edition white vinyl, CD, and a limited Madchild football jersey.

Madchild will embark on a 17 city European tour throughout March, before hitting the road with Strange Music's Stevie Stone on the Strange Noize Tour across America in April with special guests 1Ton and Phil Mauro.

As a solo artist, Madchild released his debut album, "Dopesick", in 2012. The album was well received and earned Madchild the #3 spot on the Canadian Billboard Top 200, and #7 on the U.S. Heatseekers Chart, as well as a Juno nomination for "Rap Recording of the Year," Sirius XFM and Canadian Independent Music Award nominations. Madchild has been featured in Billboard, Yahoo News, Sway's Universe (Sirius XM), Jason Ellis Show (Sirius XM), B-Real TV, XXL Mag, Noisey, HipHop DX, Complex and many more.
