To announce tour dates 2013, the performers of the hit singles Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us surprised their U.S. fans with a suave 3-minute video. Currently touring Europe with the support of artist Chance the Rapper, the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis filmed the message to their home crowd while roaming the streets in Germany and thus remained faithful to their trademark nonchalant and positive style.

Active as a hip-hop singer and songwriter since the early 2000s, and releasing his first album The Language of My Life in 2005, Macklemore shook the world rap scene with his 2012 collaboration with DJ Ryan Lewis. Lewis is also the producer of the duo's subsequent album called The Heist. Hype and unusual compared to other hip-hop celebrities, the two are the first performers since 1994 to reach Billboard number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 without being signed to a major label.

Tickets are already on sale, and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis used their video announcement to urge fans to purchase their passes fast, since with the exception of New York City each concert venue includes only one show. The almost two-month-long U.S. tour continues Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' world tour which was set in motion soon after the sweeping success of The Heist.

The selection of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis tour tickets varies according to the hosting venue. Therefore, tickets will include field tickets, presale tickets, upper and lower arena tickets, floor tickets, balcony tickets, lodge tickets, and mezzanine tickets. For a few selected venues, the tickets may also include premium tickets and VIP fan packages.
