L.A. alt-pop gem Echosmith will be featured in the new season of MTV's hit comedy series Awkward, which premiered its highly-anticipated 4th season on Tuesday, April 15. The band will have their music showcased throughout the season, culminating with Echosmith at the centerpiece of an upcoming storyline. VisitSeventeen.com for all the details about Echosmith's involvement with Awkward. You can tune in to Awkward on MTV Tuesdays at 10/9pm CST.

2014 is proving to be a huge year for the quartet. Their incredible performance at the MTV Woodie Awards at SXSW had Entertainment Weekly saying, "Of all the bands looking to make noise on the Woodies, though, Echosmith seemed most ready to break out." Now they're gearing up to be one of the most anticipated acts at this summer's Warped Tour. Echosmith was featured in the most recent season of Fuse's "Warped Roadies" and were also a Fuse Favorite artist in February.

Echosmith's single "Cool Kids" is gaining huge traction at radio, with continued early support in breakout market Nashville's WRLT, while Los Angeles' Alt 98.7 has named "Cool Kids" as this week's "Best New Song of the Year...This Week."

The Sierota siblings - Jamie (vocals/guitar), Sydney (vocals/keyboard), Noah(vocals/bass), and Graham (drums)- have been receiving widespread acclaim following the release of their debut album, Talking Dreams, on Oct. 1 of last year.Alternative Press said, "Talking Dreams would make great listening for an impressionable young person-but it's not for kids only," while Seventeen is lauding Sydney's "stunning voice," and Huffington Post has described them as "awesome and polished." According to PopCrush, "If they are not on your radar yet, they should be," and with the way 2014 is going, they will be soon.
