Interernationally acclaimed DJ and producer, MK (Marc Kinchen) has teamed up with Chelsea football stars Thibaut Courtois, David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger to help capture sounds for his new single, using innovative sound technologies at Shepperton studios.
The esteemed house producer, whose previous single '17' has amassed more than 70 million Spotify streams, paired up with the 2018 FA Cup winners to record the sounds of balls being struck against various objects at the studio, utilising a series of metal, plastic, and even water based surfaces, to create rich samples that can be transformed into club-ready basslines. "Beatball with Thibaut Courtois, David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger was an amazing experience. We used the players skills and my studio process to create the sounds and textures I wanted," said MK. "Even just one sound can create a new track, so by layering it with drum sounds, it sounds very beat-heavy, and pretty dope! I hope you like it as much as we do"Videos
