Three-time Grammy Award-winning multiplatinum band Maroon 5, led by frontman and coach Adam Levine, will perform their new single, "Wait," from their latest album, "Red Pill Blues," on the April 24 (8-9 p.m.) live telecast of NBC's four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice."

In addition, 11 of the Top 12 artists - Sharane Calister, Rayshun LaMarr and Jackie Verna from Team Adam; Britton Buchanan, Christiana Danielle and Jackie Foster from Team Alicia; Pryor Baird, Spensha Baker and Kyla Jade from Team Blake; and Brynn Cartelli, D.R. King and Kaleb Lee from Team Kelly - will learn they are moving on in their quest of winning season 14.

Maroon 5 stands out as not only one of pop music's most enduring artists, but also one of the 21st century's biggest acts. To date, the universally renowned Los Angeles band has won three Grammys and become the most successful group in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 with 12 Top 10 entries, registered 20 Top 40 hits (making them the only band to ever do so), sold over 36 million albums, and earned gold and platinum certifications in more than 35 countries.

The band won over fans and critics alike with the hybrid rock/R&B sound they introduced on their debut album, "Songs About Jane," and their double-platinum album, "It Won't Be Soon Before Long." Maroon 5 went on to release studio albums "Hands All Over," which featured the anthemic "Moves Like Jagger," and "Overexposed." The band's fifth studio album, "V," debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 chart and featured #1 hit singles "Maps," "Animals" and "Sugar," helping to set a record for the most #1's by a group in the Top 40 chart's 20-year history, with nine in total. The music video for the album's Grammy-nominated single "Sugar" has notably logged a record setting 2+ billion views to date.

Maroon 5's released their sixth studio album, "Red Pill Blues," in late 2017 via 222/Interscope. The debut single off the album, "What Lovers Do" (feat. SZA), introduced the band's latest body of work with a proverbial bang, accumulating more than 485 million Spotify streams and 208 million YouTube/VEVO views. The band's new single is the highly anticipated track "Wait," which has quickly climbed up the Top 40 and Hot AC radio charts and already clocked over 113 million Spotify streams. The first leg of the band's world tour will kick off May 30 with special guest Julia Michaels.

On the Monday, April 23 live telecast (8-10 p.m.), "The Voice" will debut special themed weeks, starting with "Story of the Song," during which artists will reveal the story of what their song means to them - special memories, significant life moments and covering artists who have inspired them.

The Monday and Tuesday editions of "The Voice" are the #1 and #2 alternative series of the 2017-18 season to date in both adults 18-49 and total viewers, and have combined to average a 2.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 12.3 million viewers overall in "live plus seven day" ratings from Nielsen Media Research. The current spring cycle opened on Feb. 26 with the show's highest results in the past 12 months in both 18-49 (a 3.5 rating in L+7) and total viewers (14.8 million).

"The Voice" is a presentation of MGM Television, Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Unscripted & Alternative Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Chad Hines, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson and Stijn Bakkers.
