Due to the overwhelming enthusiasm for this concert, an additional performance has been added for Tuesday, November 1, 7.30pm. The Wednesday, November 2 performance at 7.30pm has only a few remaining scattered seats available. These two special evening will integrate elements from both artists' 30-year careers fusing country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues. In a career that spans 15 albums, singer-composer-actor Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music with his gift of storytelling. In addition to his four Grammy Awards, Lyle received the Americana Music Association's inaugural Trailblazer Award, and was named the Texas State Musician. His works, rich and eclectic, are some of the most beloved of any living artist working today. Fellow musical trailblazer Robert Earl Keen emerged on the Texas music scene in the 1980s where he quickly earned a reputation for his unusual balance of sensitive story-telling and raucousness. BMI recently presented him with their first Troubadour Award for excellence in songwriting. Although his 18 albums and his live performances span many different styles, from folk, country, and bluegrass to rock, he is most commonly affiliated with the Americana movement.

Both Lovett and Keen have long been heralded as two of the Lone Star State's most popular and consistently acclaimed musical ambassadors, leading to their inductions into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012.
