Madame Tussauds, the world-renowned wax attraction slated to open its newest location in Nashville on April 14, and Luke Bryan teamed up to reveal the country superstar's new wax figure in Time Square on March 1 prior to his sold-out show at Madison Square Garden this evening. To capture his every detail, Bryan graciously carved out time during his "Kick the Dust Up Tour," to undergo a "sitting" with Madame Tussauds studio artists in Nashville. The research team took more than 300 measurements of the singer and Bryan himself donated the figure's jeans and t-shirt to ensure an exact likeness.
Luke Bryan's life-like figure, which portrays "Huntin', Fishin' & Lovin' Every Day" singer in present day, is outfitted with a custom-made Gibson guitar which dons a 'Buck Commander' lute hole and a replica pair of Bryan's signature cowboy boots.
Bryan's figure will fittingly be featured at Madame Tussauds Nashville, the 'Home of Country Music.' He will be positioned at the front of the attraction in the admissions area and will be one of the first figures guests see as they enter.
"I'm so excited to finally see my figure. It was such a great experience to sit with the Madame Tussauds artists to capture my every detail," said Luke Bryan. "Looking at my figure today, I can honestly say I'm impressed at the likeness. And knowing it will be at the Nashville attraction, where I live with my family, is truly an honor."
Each Madame Tussauds figure is truly a work of art, involving teams of professional artists and sculptors who spend months on extensive research and take more than 300 measurements to recreate world-famous icons, to achieve the kind of astonishing realism that has been at the heart of the 250-year Madame Tussauds legacy.
With a completely different concept, the attraction in Nashville will be the company's first offering in the U.S. that focuses solely on music icons that have shaped America's musical landscape. Guests are encouraged to have fun with the famous stars from musical genres such as Country, Rock n Roll, Jazz, Blues and Pop.
Additional figures hitting the stage at Madame Tussauds Nashville include Beyoncé, Billie Holiday, Blake Shelton, Bob Dylan, Carrie Underwood, Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Kenny Rogers, Little Jimmy Dickens, Louis Armstrong, Miley Cyrus, Minnie Pearl, Rayna Jaymes & Deacon Claybourne, Rihanna, Stevie Wonder and Taylor Swift. More artists will be added to the bill within the coming weeks.
Guests can save $5 off the regular price by purchasing early bird tickets to the attraction.
