Storming into 2014 Lucius will take their "joyous, melodic anthems" (Billboard) back on tour tonight, beginning at the Southern Café and Music Hall in Charlottesville, VA. Following the lengthy US stint, the band will travel abroad in the spring to celebrate the European release of Wildewoman via PIAS on March 31.
Fans unable to make it out to one of the shows can catch Lucius performing on NPR's WXPN World Café airing January 23 or on Last Call With Carson Daly, February 26 at 1:35/12:35 a.m. Central on NBC. The Brooklyn quintet will continue touring into the summer appearing at a variety of festivals including Delaware's Firefly as well as New York's Governors Ball and Mountain Jam. To truly kick 2014 off in style, the band has teamed up with teen tastemaker sensation Rookie Magazine to unveil a spectacular live rendition of Wildewoman album cut "Go Home." Shot in a kitchen and using their voices and utensils as their setup, the video showcases the band's raw magnetism and undeniable natural talent. Watch the "Go Home" (Live Video) HERE. As you follow the band on the road you can create your own variation of the Wildewomanalbum cover or "Tempest" music video using your most recent Instagrams. A complete list of tour dates follow.
