Lucius debuted a new song, "Million Dollar Secret," in an episode of HBO's "Girls," which
Vulture proclaimed, "Its opening melody heavily invokes the American West, with lonely whistles that echo like the breeze in a moonlit desert," while
Consequence Of Sound added "Lucius have grown into one of the
most ubiquitous acts in all of indie pop." Listen to the track here: http://bit.ly/2mVnd6K
Earlier this year, the band scored Zoe Lister-Jones' film Band Aid, which premiered at
Sundance Film Festival. The film is the story of a couple, Anna (Lister-Jones) and Ben (Adam Pally), who can't stop fighting. Advised by their therapist to try and work through their grief unconventionally, they are reminded of their shared love of music. In a last-ditch effort to save their marriage, they deci
de to turn all their fights into song. With the help of their neighbor Dave (Armisen) who was once a drummer, they start a band.
Lucius is led by Wolfe and Laessig accompanied by multi-instrumentalists Peter Lalishand Dan Molad.
