It's time for some serious Hollywood swinging with the Return of the Wildest! The long and exhilarating road Louis Prima Jr. has traveled carrying on his father's amazing legacy makes an exciting late September stop in Tinseltown at the Precious Cheese Feast of San Gennaro, Los Angeles, tonight, September 27 and tomorrow night, September 28.

Just like the 80-plus year-old New York City tradition, the event—launched by some of L.A.'s most prominent Italian-Americans in 2002—is a celebration of Italian culture, food and entertainment featuring live music, street performers, strolling musicians, a kid's corner and many rides and games.

Prima and his band The Witnesses are set to headline the VIP-only, celeb-filled Prima Notte Opening Night Fundraising Gala this evening, September 27, for 45 minutes. These festivities are hosted by Jimmy Kimmel (the Chairman of the Precious Cheese Feast of San Gennaro) and Adam Corolla.

Tomorrow evening, Friday, September 28, 2012, Prima and his group will perform a 90-minute show for the general public. Both performances will be on the backlot stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, located at 1651 N. Highland Ave.

Return of the Wildest!, Prima's debut album released this week via Warrior Records / Universal Music Distribution, is currently featured on AOL Music's CD Listening Party.

The Precious Cheese Feast of San Gennaro Los Angeles is produced by The San Gennaro Foundation, a non-profit organization established to aid children and families in need in the Los Angeles area. Prima Notte offers guests a preview of the weekend festivities, while honoring outstanding Members of The community and raising funds for the Foundation, whose mission is to uphold the principles that were established by St. Gennaro, the patron saint of Naples, Italy who worked tirelessly to help people in need.

Stretching the boundaries between the swing and rock eras, Return of the Wildest! brings back the fire while adding blistering energy to a batch of ten Louis Prima classics (and lesser known songs Prima Jr. says "should be heard”).
