Local Supports Announced for Dionne Warwick's Australian and New Zealand Tour Image

With just one day until soul icon Dionne Warwick's Australian and New Zealand tour kicks off in Perth, Frontier Touring and Arena Touring are delighted to announce the local talent joining the five-time GRAMMY® award winner on stage. The show moves to Adelaide this Saturday and Melbourne on Sunday, before a very special appearance by Ms Warwick at Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, Sydney and Gold Coast follow next week before the tour crosses to Christchurch.

First on the line-up in Perth will be West Australian based alt-country singer, Jason Ayres ('Troubles Of My Own', 'Everything I Say') who has supported the likes of Rick Astley, Kasey Chambers, Mark Seymour and Tex Perkins.

Opening the show in Adelaide is local roots and soul singer-songwriter Sean Kemp ('Breaking On Me', 'Something About Her') who is no stranger to sharing the stage with Dionne, having opened for her when she was last in Adelaide in 2016.

Joining Ms Warwick in Melbourne is the queen of Melbourne soul herself, Kylie Auldist ('Sensational'). Kylie shot to international prominence after featuring on the huge track 'This Girl' by Kungs vs Cookin' on 3 Burners, which reached #1 on single charts globally and has been streamed over 1 billion times on Spotify and YouTube alone.

Sydney songstress Annie Z will be opening in Sydney. Check out her stunning piano cover of 'At Last' to get a taste ahead of Thursday night.

On the Gold Coast will be local act Shelly Brown ('Burnin' for a Long Time', 'If I Sleep') with her signature blend of rich honeyed soul infused with a deep groove and slick jazz undertones.

In Christchurch catch jazz singer Mahalia Simpson ('Coo Coo lady ft. Spycc', 'Be My (Fu-gee-la)'), whose soulful music has attracted over 37k followers on Soundcloud with her 12 songs tracking over 370k streams.

In extra special news and to tie in with her first Australian show, Ms Warwick is set to release a Christmas single and rendition of the traditional Hawaiian Christmas song 'Mele Kalikamaka' featuring renowned reggae artist and Grammy nominee, Fiji, and her son, famed producer Damon Elliott aka Nomad. 'Mele Kalikamaka' (released via Entertainment One) is available worldwide tomorrow, Friday November 2.

With these very special shows fast approaching, act now to secure tickets to see one of the most successful performers of our time, Dionne Warwick live on stage!
