Little Daylight Takes On JON SANDLER's New Single 'Take My Time'

After a successful trip across the pond where Brooklyn based rocker Jon Sandler played a slew of shows along with landing his video on UK's popular weekend show, Sunday Brunch, Sandler is ready to give his fans in the US some more. Last December, Sandler released his second single off of his album with Super Duper Records titled, "Take My Time."

Now, the singer/songwriter is excited to announce that the indie-pop/remix masters, Little Daylight, have taken on Jon's single as their new remix project. Little Daylight has recently been blowing up in the music scene with their popular remixes of songs by Edward Sharpe, Passion Pit, Temper Trap and more! Both Brooklyn-based musicians, Sandler is ecstatic that they picked one of his singles, stating: "Little Daylight is one of my favorite new bands and definitely one of the greatest remixers around and I am honored that they would want to remix 'Take My Time'.

I think they did an awesome job of preserving the emotion and meaning of the song while still making it their own." Sandler will be announcing the release date for this remix within the upcoming weeks

After his tour across London, Jon Sandler is excited to announce who he will be performing with this spring here in the States. Sandler will be doing a couple spot dates as the opening act for James McCartney, son of the legendary Paul McCartney. On May 15^th Sandler and McCartney will be playing in Burlington, Vermont at Club Metronome 188. Sandler will join him the following night as well on May 16^th in Portland, Maine at One Longfellow Square.

Currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, Jon Sandler recorded a full-length self-titled album in 2008 that received critical acclaim. In 2010, Sandler and his band recorded a new EP called "The Fancy Band." He was soon signed to Super Duper Records where he continued to perform and tour. Under Super Duper Records, Sandler produced his latest full-length album "Late Night Champ" in 2012 which was mixed by Justin Gerrish (Vampire Weekend) and mastered by Chris Gehringer (Lady Gaga). With a soulful voice, honest lyrics and a charismatic stage presence, Sandler's been compared to a mix of Ben Folds Five and Beck.
