Returning to the idyllic setting of Banffy Castle Romania for its seventh year, Electric Castle today announce the second wave of artists set to join the multi-genre line-up. From 17-21 July 2019, the festival will welcome iconic American rap-rock heroes Limp Bizkit, British synth-pop favourites Chvrches, drum and bass superstar Sigma, dubstep heavyweight Zomboy, electronic duo Zeds Dead, dance music powerhouse The Black Madonna, veteran DJ and producer Nightmares on Wax and many more. With an influx of over 200,00 festival-goers expected to descend over the five days in July, Electric Castle is set to host a string of show-stopping performances and deliver an unimaginable immersive experience to all that attend. Nominated for multiple awards, British drum and bass duo and superstar collaborators Sigma will take charge of the crowd with their animated performance. Popular hits such as 'Nobody to Love' are set to be a highlight of the festival.
One of the UK's most successful grime artists, Giggs, will be staying true to his roots and bringing with him the harsh narrative of as his lyrics that echo the struggles faced on the streets of East London. Refusing to convert to anything mainstream, Giggs is respected by many and has paved the way for UK grime.
Charming Scottish synth-pop trio Chvrches also join the line-up, alongside Australian indie rockers Gangs of Youth, Dutch remix wizards Detroit Swindle and BBC Radio 1 favourites Bondax. Known for his eclectic sets that break the boundaries of genre, Mella Dee will single-handedly bring a mix of techno, future soul and garage to the line-up. Also announced are the likes of Dub Pistols, TOKiMONSTA, Breach, Barely Legal and many more.
