Lightning in a Bottle has announced the musical lineup for the Compass area of the festival and the workshop and panel lineup of its Crossroads space. The announcement comes a week after the first round of speakers and workshops were unveiled for the new educational HUB of the festival.

The Musical and Performer offerings feature sights and sounds of other cultures from around the world. From belly dancing to German house, the music hosted at the Compass is hand-selected to pair with the mind-expanding classes that are held on grassroots political activism, social justice, climate change and indigenous land rights, digital activism, identifying truth in journalism and social media, decolonization, art activism, and more.

CROSSROADS: Exploring our World

As a section of the Compass and place for global culture at Lightning in a Bottle, the Crossroads offers classes in traditional music and dance and the history of the cultures they come from. It will also be a place to experience intimate performances from world class traditional musicians and performers. The Crossroads will alsco include a Medicine of Music panel discussion.
