Lifetime's DANCE MOMS to Feature Music by Rachael Sage in Season 4

Music by singer-songwriter and former ballet dancer Rachael Sage has been featured in Lifetime Network's popular Reality Show "Dance Moms" in the season premiere on January 1st, New Years Day, and will also be featured later in the season. "Dance Moms" stars Maddie Ziegler and Chloe Lukasiak perform routines to two different songs from Rachael's milestone 10th album "Haunted By You" , including a solo to the song "Birthday" by Maddie in episode 1, and a duet to the song "Confession" in episode 8. The new season of "Dance Moms" premiered on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 9pm PT/ET, with new episodes airing on Tuesdays at 9pm ET/PT.

As a fan of the show, Sage is thrilled that her music has been selected for its fourth season, and the opportunity is especially meaningful as Sage was a professional dancer before she began her career as a musician. She was a student at the School of American Ballet, and performed in classics such as "The Nutcracker", "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Coppelia" with The New York City Ballet. Sage is a self-taught pianist who learned to play by ear while listening to the classical and popular music she heard in dance class. To this day, when she works on a composition, she still envisions choreography and dancers; her music appears in over 100 dance competition and routine videos - with over 650,000 combined views - as collected via her YouTube channel's Dance Playlist.

Nominated for multiple Teen Choice Awards, "Dance Moms" follows young dancers' early steps on the road to stardom, with their doting mothers in tow for every rehearsal and performance. Season three averaged 2.1 million total viewers and the season premiere delivered 2.8 million total viewers, becoming the series' most-watched telecast ever.
