World renowned rock band the Scorpions have signed with Primary Wave Entertainment, who will be the multi-platinum rock band's exclusive marketing agency focusing on marketing the Scorpions' new album and tour, as well as building their online presence and brand alliances. The Scorpions will release their new album "Return To Forever," in North America later this year, which will celebrate the band's 50th stage anniversary. In addition to the new album, the legendary band hit the road on May 1st for a worldwide tour, which kicked-off in Zhenjian, China and is making stops in Paris, Berlin, Rome, Zurich, Los Angeles, Toronto, Brooklyn and many more. The band will also appear on the big screen with a new documentary "Forever And A Day," which was captured by film maker Katja von Garnier, who accompanied the Scorpions on their "Final Sting" tour and put together a moving documentary with unique images from their eighteen months on tour, displaying the band's magic, which has never been documented before.

Prior to this transaction, Primary Wave's publishing repertoire included an interest in the Beatles songs written by John Lennon, the catalogs of Kurt Cobain/Nirvana, Steven Tyler/Aerosmith, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Chicago, Maurice White (Earth, Wind & Fire), Steve Earle, Daniel Johnston, Marvin Hamlisch, The Matrix, Lamont Dozier and Steven Curtis Chapman, as well as developing artists such as Airborne Toxic Event, Albert Hammond Jr., John Forte, The Boxer Rebellion, New Boyz, Taddy Porter, Anberlin and writers such as Gregg Alexander, among others.
