Lara Herscovitch to Perform Benefit Concert at Long Wharf Theatre, 11/9

Singer/songwriter Lara Herscovitch will perform in a benefit concert for the Connecticut Juvenile Justice Alliance on Saturday, November 9 at Long Wharf Theatre's Stage II in New Haven.

She will be accompanied by Mark Zaretsky (harmonica) and Henry Lugo (bass).

Herscovitch has been called an "extraordinarily talented" (smother.net) modern singer-songwriter with folk, blues, jazz, and pop influences; smart, poetic, witty and soulful; "captivating" (smother.net); "a remarkable performer" (WSHU Public Radio); with a voice "clear and smooth like expensive liquor" (Northeast Performer).

Doors will open at 7 p.m. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. A cash bar is available. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased at https://www.longwharf.org/peo/show.asp.
