Lady Gaga, A.K.A. 'Mother Monster' is showing appreciation to her loyal 'monsters' by sharing a very emotional, stripped down version of "Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?)".
This follows the release of her last single "The Cure" which she premiered during her 2017 headlining Coachella set last year. Gaga is set to perform at this year's Grammy Awards, which airs this Sunday, January 28 at 7:30pm EST/4:30 PT.
The short film clip honors her late aunt who passed away at just 19 years old. This was 12 years before the pop star was born. She breaks down in tears while singing the heartfelt ballad.
"Joanne was my father's sister who died at the age of 19 from the autoimmune disease Lupus. My father was only 15 when she passed away," a note at the beginning of the video revealed.
Gaga is up for two Grammy Awards: 'Best Pop Solo Performance' for "Million Reasons" and 'Best Pop Vocal Album' for "Joanne".
