LP Releases Digital Studio Version of Single 'Into the Wild', May 29

Vocalist, songwriter, and performer LP, whose song "Into The Wild" has been memorably featured in Citibank's "rock-climber" commercial, will release a studio version of the track, produced by Rob Cavallo and PJ Bianco, which will become available through all digital retail outlets on May 29th.

The song is the title track from the New York-born, Los Angeles-based artist's debut EP for Warner Bros. Records, a CD + DVD package titled Into The Wild: Live At EastWest Studios, which was released on April 24th. The EP, which was produced by Cavallo and co-produced by Mike Elizondo and Julian Raymond, contains audio and video of LP performing five songs live at Hollywood's EastWest recording studio, which was transformed into an intimate club setting for the occasion.

LP began attracting attention on the coasts due to her riveting live performances. When a snippet of "Into The Wild" found its way into a Citibank commercial, people immediately wanted to know who that voice belonged to. As a result, "Into The Wild" became the focus for a subsequent CNN.com piece. 

Already an accomplished songwriter who has penned hits for other artists one hears on the radio every day, LP truly shines as a compelling live attraction, thanks to her natural charisma honed through years of touring. And touring is something she'll be doing plenty of in the months ahead including appearances at Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza Festivals in between recording sessions for her upcoming debut album for Warner Bros. Records.
