The nightlife venue has announced a 2015 monthly residency with DJ Mustard, one of the most in-demand and respected producers in music, as well as "The Beat Presented by LIGHT," a new weekly open format concert series. "The Beat" marks the first time The Light Group, the pioneering hospitality and management company renowned for shaping the nightlife landscape, will host an open format concert series at LIGHT. The 38,000-square-foot venue opened in December 2013 combining state-of-the-art production, unique choreography imagined by Cirque du Soleil and exclusive bookings such as Carl Cox's first Vegas residency; the first-ever North American nightclub performance by Axwell Ingrosso; and DJ residencies with breakout stars Alesso, Nicky Romero, Krewella and other notable performers. Chart-topping talent will now have LIGHT's revolutionary production possibilities at their disposal to curate events that cannot be experienced anywhere else on the Las Vegas Strip.

This January will not only see the launch of "The Beat," it also will be DJ Mustard's first official Vegas residency and marks The Light Group's new partnership with GRAMMY winners will.i.am and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis who will be performing at a number of The Light Group's properties throughout 2015.

A multi-faceted entertainer, creative innovator and philanthropist, will.i.am is best known for his work with The Black Eyed Peas, who have sold 33 million albums and 58 million singles worldwide. will.i.am's debut solo CD, #willpower, was released in April 2013 on Interscope Records. The first two singles included worldwide platinum hit "This is Love" featuring Eva Simons and "Scream & Shout" featuring Britney Spears, which shot to No. 1 on the iTunes single chart and to top three on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. DJ Mustard, born Dijon McFarlane, is a DJ and producer. The Los Angeles-born native brings a hot, new and different sound to hip-hop. In just three years, Mustard constructed a registry of hits for the likes of Tyga ("Rack City"), 2 Chainz ("I'm Different"), Young Jeezy ("R.I.P."), Kid Ink ("Show Me"), YG ("My Hitta"), and nabbed collaborations with Jennifer Lopez, T-Pain, Trey Songz and more.
