On Saturday August 30th at 5pm, take the road less traveled as LI Pulse Magazine and the Donielle Cardinale/Cardinale Group of Daniel Gale Sothebys present a very special End of the Summer VIP Party and CD release for Cass Dillon.
The event, which will take place on the North Fork of Long Island at an undisclosed waterfront location, will include media coverage, celebrities, local and national business owners, and trend setting fashion by local boutiques, with a bottomless wine bar provided by Lieb Cellars and delicious hors dourves being served.
This special gathering is by invite only; people wishing to attend as a guest can submit through a LI Pulse Magazine contest at: http://www.lipulse.com/http://www.lipulse.com/end-of-summer-party-featuring-cass-dillon
Cass, the emerging musician/actor from Long Island, NY who recently turned heads in a recent LI Pulse Magazine feature story, wrote, recorded and produced the album in its entirety on the North Fork of Long Island at his managers farm house after some soul searching about his place in the business.
"For us, the North Fork is sacred ground - we all had spiritual awakenings while recording Oregon Road - it's hard to explain in words," remarked Stefano DiBenedetto of The Hang Productions, Manager for Cass Dillon."
This 6 song EP talks about the universal themes of challenges, hope, friendship and love in a clever and refreshing way, bringing the listener on a musical escape. It really speaks to the fact that the peace and tranquility afforded to those who venture east and follow the road less traveled, taking the one that leads to the north, can lead to great musical epiphany. "It can make all the difference", as Robert Frost once said.
Donielle Cardinale of Daniel Gale Sothebys remarked "I am a huge fan of Cass and what his music captures about this place we call our home. We are so excited to be a part of this event. Those who enjoy the tranquility of the water, the vineyards, the farms, and the unique overall beauty of the East End of Long Island have been coming out here for generations. Now with the growing awareness of numerous wonderful restaurants, fantastic nightlife and the ever increasing presence of the arts and the culture, this magical place has an even broader appeal to even more people, while still maintaining all the character and charm that makes the North Fork something very special".
Cass Dillon was also recently featured as a Rising Star in Newsday and performed big gigs at spots like The Paramount and The Gramercy Theater, has been promoting his singles "I Love You" and "Friends" for the past few months - and now has his sights set on making this album a bonafide hit.
