Kwaye Shares PARALYZED Ahead Of New EP Image

KWAYE has released his latest song, "Paralyzed", from his forthcoming Love & Affliction EP out October 19th on Mind of a Genius / Warner Bros. Records. Watch and listen to "Paralyzed" HERE.

The powerful, heartfelt track comes complete with a stunning black-and-white video directed by frequent collaborator Billy Boyd Cape. In the video, KWAYE confronts the personification of internal struggles that he's been living with against a starkly-beautiful ocean cliffside backdrop. KWAYE will also be making his debut live appearance at London's OMEARA on Tuesday, October 30th. Tickets for this first-ever headline performance are on sale now at kwaye.co.uk/live.

"The fear of man brings a snare..." My dad taught me this verse when I was around 14, and I've never let it go since. Paralyzed is about seeing the person you wish to be, but fearing how that person will be accepted by the ones you love. Living in fear of judgement and by the opinions of others can leave you feeling at war with yourself, and unable to move forward in your own life. This video shows the journey from being paralyzed by that fear to confronting it head on. - KWAYE

"You wouldn't guess it from his quiet, thoughtful demeanor, but KWAYE is preparing for global domination." - BILLBOARD

"[KWAYE's music is] impressively realized, with a big, vibrant sound that combines elements from R&B, soul, and synth-pop, and adds a theatrical flair-a nod to his time in musical theater." - INTERVIEW MAGAZINE

"Kwaye was one of the best surprises 2017 had to offer, offering one fleet-footed and self-assured single after another." - PLAYBOY

"KWAYE Is One of the Greatest Artists You Haven't Heard of Yet" - NOISEY

"KWAYE is bringing back pop sounds from a bygone era with a resoundingly modern twist." - HIGHSNOBIETY
