With its new album, After Hours, Close to Dawn, KINGSWOOD proves it's a part a rich, rare lineage: risk-takers who refuse to acknowledge the easy boundaries that demarcate popular music. The Melbourne trio recently shared, "Golden" another taste of its sophomore album due out March 3.

Directed by Matt Campbell, the video was shot at Parramatta's Historic War Memorial
Swimming Centre and stars Olympic diver Brittany O'Brien. O'Brien competed in 2016's Rio Olympics and lends her talents to the various majestic, sublime and aquatic shots. "Golden" has enjoyed substantial streaming success, landing on Spotify's _______.
Lead guitarist/vocalist
Alexander Laska shares, "The video reflects the idea of a lonesome high, particularly in retrospect, using diving as the metaphor. I've often thought diving must be so exhilarating and euphoric but only really enjoyed by the few who pursue it. In a way, it reflects that ideas behind the song by representing elements of that feeling only you are left with after a specific emotional experience."
After Hours, Close To Dawn puts Laska (guitar/vocals), Fergus Linacre (vocals) and Justin Debrincat (drummer) on the front line of innovators. The seeds for the current blooms were laid with 2014's Microscopic Wars. It hit number six on the ARIA albums chart, moved more than 50,000 copies in Australia, sold-out several national tours and offered the band the opportunity to open a stadium show for one of its musical idols, AC/DC.
