Amjad Ali Khan will appear on Friday, October 4, 8 p.m. at The Kentucky Center's Bomhard Theater.

A favorite performer at world music festivals worldwide, Amjad Ali Khan is regarded by his peers in classical Indian music as the greatest living sarod player. Performing onstage with his sons, the family represents seven generations of classical masters who have studied and sacrificed to live highly integrated lives combining two of life's greatest forces: love and music. Audiences leave the performances refreshed by the trance-like state invoked by the sophisticated rhythms of the gentle ragas.

VIP tickets are available for $50 and include premium seating, exclusive access to post-show reception Meet & Greet with the artist and complimentary hors d'oeuvres at the East Room reception.
