This artist promises to dazzle the audience at his Sunday, June 28, 8 p.m. concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse in a night of unforgettable soul, blues and folk all bundled into a one-of-a-kind sound. B.B. King, Buddy Guy, the Dixie Chicks, Joe Cocker, Robert Palmer and Tom Jones have all recorded his songs. He's collaborated with a host of artists including Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Brown, Cassandra Wilson, Buddy Guy, Amy Grant, Solomon Burke, Little Milton and many others. Arriving in the soulful wake of his 12th album release Bluesamericana, Keb' Mo' (aka Kevin Moore) combines social relevance with irresistible talent. He's reached Grammy fame multiple times and wowed crowds with songwriting, guitar skill and rich vocals. Keb' also wrote and performs the theme song for the smash sit-com, Mike & Molly, and composed the music for TV's Memphis Beat. As an actor, Keb' Mo' has been featured in TV and film, playing Robert Johnson in the 1998 documentary "Can't You Hear The Wind Howl," and appearing three times on the television series, "Touched By an Angel". He was the ghostly bluesman Possum in John Sayles' 2007 movie, "Honeydripper." Most recently, Keb joined the Playing For Change movement, which was created to inspire, connect and bring peace to the world through music. Keb' is featured on the Playing Change For Change album: Playing Change for Change 3: Songs Around the World, which was released in 2014, and features over 180 musicians from 31 countries, including Keith Richards, Sara Bareilles, David Hidalgo, Cesar Rosas, Taj Mahal and many others.

Keb' Mo's guitar playing has inspired leading instrument maker Gibson Brands to issue the Keb' Mo' Signature Bluesmaster acoustic guitar, and Martin Guitars to issue the HD-28KM Keb' Mo' Limited Edition Signature model.

Rolling Stone describes his music as "somewhere between the soul of Delta Blues and the melodic feel of contemporary folk bundled in story-like framework."
