Katy Perry wants to share the spotlight this year at the Super Bowl.

The 30-year-old pop star is set to perform for the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show, one of the most coveted performance opportunities in the industry, and she has expressed a desire to perform alongside 50-year-old Lenny Kravitz.

"He's got so much style and this certain, how do you say it, je ne sais quoi... he's the coolest!" said the "Dark Horse" singer. "He's the king of cool and he's going to make me so much more cooler."

They have yet to decide on an exact song, but fans are hopeful that the duet is bound to be "cool."

The Super Bowl halftime show is projected to have more than 115 million viewers, topping last year's viewership featuring Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The sporting event will air on Feb 1, and will be played at the Universityof Phoenix Stadium.
