Singer Katharine McPhee would like to appear on Broadway if she can find the right role, AceShowBiz reports.

McPhee, who was the runner-up on Season Five of 'American Idol,' told OK! magazine, "I have never done Broadway. I studied musical theater, so I have a background for it. There's been opportunities, but not quite the right match for me yet. But I would love to do Broadway one day."

McPhee has previously appeared on stage in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN and 110 STORIES.  Her screeb credits include 'The House Bunny' and 'You May Not Kiss the Bride,' as well as television's 'Ugly Betty' and 'The Soup.' She has released two albums, 'Katharine McPhee' and the recent 'Unbroken.'
