Polish based duo Karol XVII & MB Valence have been making quite a remarkable name for themselves since entering the music industry 10 years ago.
Having been ranked by DJMag as the best Polish DJ's of 2008 and nominated as the Best Deep House Artist at the 2010 Beatport Music Awards, the duo have been the talents behind some the scene's hottest Deep House and Tech House hits, with their release catalogue including records such as: 'Rhythmer', 'Crowded House', 'The Gap', 'Butterfly', 'Maruda' and 'Ppl of the Future'; showcasing their fine tuned production skills. With DJ's such as: John Digweed, Groove Armada, Ritchie Hawtin, Roger Sanchez andDJ Sneak throwing their support towards the multi-talented tandem, it's no surprise that Karol XVII & MB Valence are making huge waves within the underground scene.
'651' is the next release from the Polish pair. The highly anticipated two-track EP, which contains the tracks: 'What's That Say' and 'Reception', is full of rich, Deep House and Tech house vibes, perfectly summing up Karol XVII & MB Valence's unique sound. Whilst 'What's That Say' goes for a more piano House feel, 'Reception' takes a darker approach with its subby bass-lines and lush pads - perfect for the underground clubs.The duo are also the masterminds behind Loco Records, the label which has released their latest EP '651'. Established in 2007, the imprint has gained the support of industry heavyweights such as: Maceo Plex, Mark Knight, Tom Middleton, Dubfire, Darius Syrossian and Paul van Dyk - a testament to their determination to release only the best underground records available. With an exciting roster of artists including the likes of: Mike Olson, Gorge, Sezer Uysal, Jackspeare and Evren Ulusoy, Loco Records has certainly cemented it's place as one of the scene's premiere labels.
