Berkeley's pioneering listener-supported radio station, KPFA, presents its annual Grateful Dead fund-raising marathon on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 9:00 am to 1:00 am. Host David Gans and co-host Tim Lynch announce unique never before seen auction items during this sixteen hours of non-stop musical fun and fund-raising!!

The items include: a unique collectible Jerry Garcia bobblehead, rare photos of Phil Lesh,
Eric Clapton & Jerry Garcia (Jim's handwriting is on this photo), and a single photo of Jerry Garcia by renowned rock photographer Jim Marshall. Other unique photos being auctioned are of Jerry Garcia taken by "Live Dead" photographer Bob Minkin and a live concert stage shot by acclaimed music photographer Bruce Polonsky.
Giving begins at home and David Gans is donating a few sentimental items from his personal collection of Laminated Backstage Passes. There are three of them and one is from the 1991 Grateful Dead Summer tour!
